At Stones Crossing Dentistry, we know that pregnancy can be a hard time for many women. We want your pregnancy to be as stress-free as possible, and we think that means keeping your mouth clean and healthy. Because we want you to retain tough oral health during your pregnancy, for your sake and for the baby’s sake, we’ve amassed the following tips you can use to keep your mouth pain-free.

-Consume a balanced diet to keep the enamel layer of your pearly whites strong and forego tooth decay.
-Avoid consuming many sugary foods and sodas, which can cause tooth breakdown and periodontal disease, both of which can affect your child.
-Give us a call if you are pregnant, and we will tweak your care accordingly.
-To stay comfortable in our office, consider bringing a pillow and some headphones along with you.
-Maintain routine cleanings with our practice, but avoid other non-emergency dental work until after the birth.
-As always, brush your teeth two times daily and floss your teeth at least one time per day.
